During the fall, as days become shorter, turn on all the lights during open houses and showings. Encourage day time visits, if at all possible, to show the home filled with natural light. Always, turn all the lights on both inside and outside, especially when showing the home after daylight hours. Clean fixtures and make sure all the light bulbs are working prior to listing the home for sale. Add additional table lamps or standing lamps to brighten a dark corner or area of a room.
