Costa Mesa Speedway

The Costa Mesa Speedway is having a race at Orange County Speedway Track on Saturday, September 12th.  This exciting event will feature live action racing.  Fans will be close to the actions in the arena style grandstand seating. This event is prefect for the whole family. The Costa Mesa Speedway is an 185 yard oval on the pole, 1/10 mile long. Gates open at 6pm and the first race will begin at 7:30 pm. The Orange County Speedway Track is located in the Action Sports Arena in the OC Fair and Event Center. General Admission is $20, senior and junior tickets are $15. Parking is $10. Gem Faire at Orange County Fairgrounds

Gem Faire is back at the Orange County Fairgrounds.  This fine jewelry, precious and semi-precious gemstone show opens on Friday, August 28th and is open through Sunday, August 30th.  In addition to gemstones and fine jewelry, there will be millions of beads, crystals, minerals and gold and silver.  There will over 200 vendors from throughout the world.  There will be jewelry repair, cleaning and ring sizing while you shop.  The show is open Friday, August 28th from noon to 6pm, Saturday, August 29th from 10am to 6pm and Sunday, August 30thfrom 10am to 5pm.  The show will be held in the Costa Mesa Building and the Santa Ana Pavilion. Emergency Food Assistance Drive Through Distribution Event

The Orange County Fairgrounds is hosting an Emergency Food Assistance Drive-Through Distribution event. The Power of One Foundation, Official No One Left Behind, CAP OC Food Bank, OC Fair and Event Center, with other partner groups are coming together to do an Emergency Food Assistance distribution drive through.  The drive through offers pre-organized food kits, kits are first come first serve.  The food drive throughs will be held on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm, at Gate 3 off of Fairview at Merrimac Way.  For more information on how to help, see their website at: powerofonefoundation.org.

Orange County Wine Fest

The Orange County Fairgrounds is hosting the Orange County Wine Fest in June.  The Wine Fest will take place on Saturday, June 13th from 12noon to 3pm and Sunday, June 14th from 12 noon to 3pm. The event is being held in the Hanger Building. The wine fest brings a large and diverse group of wines from around the world together in one building. Tickets range in price from $50 to $70. May 2020 OC Night Market

The OC Night Market will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 15th, 16th and 17th.  The OC Night Market is put on by 626 Night Market, the original and one of the largest night markets in the US. There will be over 200 local vendors, including food and drink vendors. In addition to shopping, there will be an Art Walk, dance competition, eating contest and live entertainment. 626 Night Markets’ goal is to showcase the local community of chefs, entrepreneurs and artists. The market is open from 4pm to midnight on Friday and Saturday and from 4pm to 11pm on Sunday. The market takes place in the OC Promenade, Lot G and Lot I. 2020 Imaginology at the OC Fairgrounds

The Orange County Fairgrounds is hosting the Imaginology 2020 from April 17th through the 19th. Imaginology is where science, technology, engineering, art and math come together in Costa Mesa.  Find out answers to questions such as what causes a rainbow or how does math help with cooking? There will be hands-on activities for kids to participate in.  Imaginology hours are from 9am to 3pm on Friday, April 17th, and 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday, April 18th and 19th.
