Boo Ha Ha -- A Haunted Oktoberfest

The OC Fair and Events grounds is hosting Boo Ha Ha -- A Haunted Oktoberfest. Put on by Brew Ha Ha Productions, this event will be open Friday and Saturday, October 29th and 30th, from 6pm to midnight.  The event will be three hours of unlimited beer tastings from across the nation, from 6pm to 9pm. There will be live music throughout the event. The focus will be Oktoberkfest and German style lagers. Costumes are encouraged. This is a 21 and over event. They will be open rain or shine. California Bridal and Wedding Expo

The California Bridal and Wedding Expo is taking place at the OC Fair and Event Center on Sunday, September 12th. The show will begin at 10am and continue until 6pm. From finding the perfect dress, to honeymoon destinations, reception venues, bands, DJ’s, photographers, and many other wedding musts. They will have ideas from black tie affairs to barefoot beach ceremonies, there will be something for everyone. This will be taking place in the Costa Mesa Building. "Toy Story" performed by The Pacific Symphony

The OC Fairgrounds and Events Center is hosting a performance of “Toy Story.”  The Pacific Symphony will perform “Toy Story in Concert,” as a special post fair concert. Follow the story as toy cowboy, Woody and space ranger, Buzz Lightyear, vie for their owner’s heart. The movie was won three Academy Awards including one for the song “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” by Randy Newman. The concert will be held at the Pacific Amphitheatre.  The concert will take place on August 21 at 8:15pm. 2021 Orange County Fair

The 2021 Orange County Fair is back and open from July 16th to August 15th. The OC Fair competitions are back.  There will be several concerts to choose from this year.  General admission is $12 on Wednesday and Thursdays and $14 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Parking is $10. If you purchased a 2020 Super Pass, and did not get a refund, it will be honored in 2021. All tickets will need to be purchased in advance this year due to limited capacity.

Farmers Market at OC Fairgrounds has a New Location

The OC Fair and Events Center is hosting the regular farmers market in a new location.  The new location is in Lot G, enter at Gate 8 off Arlington. This is your opportunity to shop an OC Farm Bureau certified farmers’ market for fresh produce, flowers, fish, honey and much more. There will be vendors selling hot food for lunch including tamales, tacos and burritos. The farmers market is open every Thursday from 9am to 1pm. Admission and parking is free. May’s Tuesday Night Dance Class at Segerstrom Center

The Segerstrom Center for the Arts is offering a variety of online virtual events and in-person events. Tuesday night dance classes are back and are in-person and outdoors. May’s Tuesday Night Dance Class will be Bollywood themed. Classes will be taught by Bollywood dance instructor Apra Bhandari. Classes will meet May 4th through May 25th, classes start at 6:30pm.  The class will be held in the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza. Virtual Imaginology

Imaginology will be going virtual in 2021. All the S.T.E.A.M. fun that Imaginology offers will be online for students, parents and teachers to view from Monday, April 19th through Sunday, April 25th. Imaginology will continue to free and open to all. Imaginology offers science, engineering, arts and math to students of all ages.  There will be activities and hands on learning projects offered. The Orange County Fairgrounds and Event Center is hosting an Outdoor Vintage Market. This is Orange County’s premiere vintage event. There will be over 150 vendors with tons of options for shopping.  There will be vintage items, antique items, repurposed materials, European, farmhouse, industrial and handcrafted items for sale. Jurassic Quest

The Orange County Fairgrounds and Event Center is hosting Jurassic Quest. This is a drive thru experience with over 70 moving and roaring dinosaurs, including their 50-foot Megalodon, T. Rex, Spinosaurus and Tricertops. There is an online accompanying audio tour that will guide you through the exhibit. In addition to the land-based dinosaurs there is an additional exhibit focusing on marine creatures. Jurassic Quest is open February 5th through the 14th, they are closed on Monday and Tuesday, hours vary, check their website for further details. Centennial Farm

Centennial Farm is open and ready for visitors again.  Centennial Farm is asking people to make a reservations, no walk ups are being taken at this time.  Simply make a reservation online or by phone, their hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 11am to 3pm. There are education programs available and interactive exhibits with chickens and pigs and in the three-acre garden. This is a working garden and much of what is done here can be duplicated in a home garden. Both the animal educators and their two-legged human counterparts are ready to show you around and answer your questions. Admission and parking are free.
